The Certified Meeting Professional program is an opportunity for professional development for individuals who are currently involved in the meeting industry.
The requirements for the CMP certification are based on professional experience and an academic examination. The foremost certification program of today’s meetings, conventions and exhibitions industry, the CMP designation recognizes those who have achieved the industry’s highest standard of professionalism.
We offer the CMP Study Courses both in Austin and San Antonio each year. Classes begin in August and are forming now. Please contact the study group leaders listed below for more information.

Costs to attend CMP Study Group*
$50.00 for MPI Members
$250.00 for Non-Members
*Additional Fees are required for CMP Application, Books, Exam etc. Total expenses for the class, CIC application, books and exam is approximately $940 for MPI members and $1,140 for non-members.
