Oscar Alarcon is an Onsite Solutions Sales Executive for Cvent, the world’s leading provider of meetings management technology. For 15+ years, Alarcon has served as a critical thought leader in the meetings industry, providing technical assistance and strategizing with customers to more effectively analyze and improve the attendee experience. He consults closely with meeting planners and conference organizers on how they can digitize the attendee’s footprint with technology that streamlines check-in and badging, while impressing attendees along the way.
 
Prior to their acquisition by Cvent, Alarcon was the Business Development Representative for Austin-based Alliance Tech, Inc., where he managed tradeshow technologies and onsite implementation of lead capture for many Fortune 1000 clients.
 
In his spare time, Alarcon contributes his event expertise to the Austin music scene by moonlighting as an independent music producer and has booked/promoted over 60+ shows in the Texas market. A proud Longhorn, Alarcon holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Texas at Austin.
